Synthetic Glossy Paint

Synthetic Glossy Paint is an alkyd resin based, single component, air drying, high gloss top coat paint. It is used to provide an aesthetic and long-lasting appearance on wood, metal and concrete surfaces. It can be easily applied with a brush, roller or gun. It is resistant to external weather conditions and is especially preferred for decorative and protective purposes on indoor and outdoor surfaces.

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surface to be applied must be dry, clean, dust-free and oil-free. If necessary, sandpaper should be applied and the surface should be primed with Synthetic Primer.

Thinning Rate

  • Diluted with 10–15% Synthetic Thinner
  • 5–10% thinning is suitable for brush/roller and 15–20% thinning for gun

Application Instructions

  • Can be applied in 1–2 coats with brush, roller or gun
  • Waiting time between coats: 16–24 hours
  • Gun pressure: 2–2.5 bar
  • Nozzle diameter: 1.4–1.8 mm
  • Application viscosity: ~60–80 sec / DIN Cup 4 (20°C)

Coversable Area

Approximately 9 – 11 m² of surface can be covered with 1 liter of paint (depending on 30 – 50 micron dry film thickness)

Drying Time (23°C / 50% RH)

  • Dust-proof: 1 – 2 hours
  • Touch dry: 6 – 8 hours
  • Full dry: 24 hours
  • Suitable for sanding: after 24 – 36 hours

Storage

  • With +5°C Store between +30°C, in a cool and dry environment
  • Should not be exposed to direct sunlight and freezing
