Polyurethane Thinner

Polyurethane Thinner is a special solvent mixture consisting of high purity solvents used in the thinning of polyurethane based paint and varnish systems. It ensures smooth spreading and smooth surface formation by controlling viscosity during application. It is also suitable for equipment cleaning. Thanks to its slow and controlled evaporation time, it reduces the orange peel appearance on the surface and forms a film without flowing.

Features

  • Perfect compatibility with polyurethane systems
  • Provides smooth and even surface formation during application
  • Reduces the orange peel effect with controlled evaporation rate
  • Resistant to flowing result
  • High dissolving power
  • Effective performance in equipment cleaning
  • Refined solvent mixture with reduced toxicity

Physical Properties

  • Appearance: Colorless - slightly yellow clear liquid
  • Density: ~0.87 - 0.89 g/cm³
  • Flash Point: >25°C
  • Odor: Solvent character
  • Volatility: Medium – slow (balanced evaporation depending on application)
