Polyurethane Primer

Polyurethane Primer is a two-component, polyurethane-based, high-adhesion, chemical and mechanical resistance surface preparation primer. It creates a smooth and durable surface before the final coat of paint application, especially on different surfaces such as metal, aluminum, polyester, MDF and concrete. It reacts with the hardener and provides excellent adhesion to the surface, increasing the durability of the final coat of paint.

Features

  • Provides high adhesion to the surface
  • Provides resistance to chemicals, oil and moisture
  • Creates a hard, durable and sandable surface
  • Can be easily painted (acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy, etc.)
  • Masks surface defects with high filling capacity
  • Can be used for a long time after mixing (pot life 2–4 hours)
  • Interior and suitable for outdoor

Application Area

  • Automotive and commercial vehicle bodies
  • Industrial machinery and equipment
  • Metal, steel and aluminum surfaces
  • Polyester, fiberglass, MDF and wood surfaces
  • Industrial building elements
  • Preparation layer before epoxy or polyurethane paint

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surface to be applied must be dry, dust-free, oil-free and free of residues such as rust. If necessary, the surface should be sanded or wiped with a cleaning solvent.
