Industrial Semi Matt Paint

Industrial Semi-Matte Paint is an alkyd resin based, single component and air drying top coat paint. It offers a balanced surface appearance between gloss and matte. It is ideal for industrial applications with its aesthetic appearance, high covering and good spreading properties. It provides decorative and protective coating on metal, wood and suitable surfaces. It gives the surface a modern semi-matte effect and offers medium level protection against outdoor conditions.

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surfaces to be applied must be dry, clean and free from residues such as dust, oil, rust. If necessary, the surface must be prepared in advance with a suitable primer. The paint must be mixed thoroughly before use.

Dilution and Application Rate

Dilute with 10 – 20% Industrial Thinner according to the application viscosity.

Application Instructions

  • Can be applied in 1–2 coats with a gun
  • Waiting time between coats: 5 – 10 minutes
  • Gun pressure: 2 – 2.5 bar
  • Nozzle diameter: 1.4 – 1.6 mm
  • Application viscosity: ~20–25 sec / DIN Cup 4 (20°C)

Area Covered

Approximately 8 – 10 m² of area can be covered with 1 liter of paint (50 – 60 micron dry film thickness (according to)

Drying Time (23°C / 50% relative humidity)

  • Dust-proof: 10 – 20 minutes
  • Touch dry: 30 – 45 minutes
  • Fully dry: 6 – 8 hours

Storage

  • Stored in a dry, cool environment between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight
  • Shelf life: 12 months (in unopened original packaging)

Hazard Warnings

  • R10: Flammable
  • R20/21/22: Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed
  • R36/38: May cause eye and skin irritation
  • R66/67: May cause dry skin and dizziness

Safety Recommendations

  • S2: Keep away from children
  • S16: Keep away from fire, do not smoke
  • S24/25: Avoid contact with eyes and skin
  • S36/37/39: Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and goggles
  • S51: Use only in well-ventilated areas
  • S56: Dispose of waste in accordance with environmental legislation
