Industrial Matte Paint

Industrial Matte Paint is an alkyd resin based, single component, air drying top coat paint. This matte looking paint provides high covering, good spreading and surface adherence in industrial applications. It offers medium level resistance to external environmental conditions and chemical effects. It is preferred in production lines due to its ease of use and fast drying advantage. Ideal for obtaining decorative and professional matte surfaces.

Features

  • Matte, homogeneous surface appearance
  • High covering and good spreading
  • Easy to apply single component structure
  • Fast drying time
  • Good adhesion to the surface
  • Can be sanded and varnished
  • Aesthetic and simple appearance

Application Area

  • Metal surfaces
  • Iron parts and steel constructions
  • Work machines and industrial equipment
  • Agricultural machines
  • Indoor and outdoor decorative metal parts
  • Wood and MDF surfaces (after appropriate primer)

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surface to be applied must be dry, clean and completely cleared of residues such as dust, oil, rust. Surface preparation should be completed with a suitable primer (e.g. Rapid Primer) and the surface should be completely dry.

Thinning and Application Ratio:

• Thinned with 10 – 20% Industrial Thinner depending on the application viscosity.

Application Instructions:

  • Can be applied in 1–2 coats with a gun
  • Wait time between coats: 5 – 10 minutes
  • Gun pressure: 2 – 2.5 bar
  • Nozzle diameter: 1.4 – 1.6 mm
  • Application viscosity: ~20–25 sec / DIN Cup 4 (20°C)

Area Coverable

• Approximately 8 – 10 coats with 1 liter of paint m² surface can be covered (depending on 50 – 60 micron dry film thickness)

Drying Time (23°C / 50% relative humidity)

  • Dust-proof: 10 – 20 minutes
  • Touch dry: 30 – 45 minutes
  • Full dry: 6 – 8 hours

Packaging

  • 1 L – 5 L – 10 L – 20 L metal containers

Storage

  • Storage should be kept in its original packaging, between +5°C and +30°C, in a cool and dry environment
  • Protect from sunlight and freezing
  • Shelf life: 12 months (under appropriate conditions)
