Floor Paint Solvent Based

Sthanlex 2K Epoxy Floor Paint is a solvent-based, two-component (A+B), epoxy resin and polyamide based floor coating paint. It provides high adhesion, chemical and mechanical resistance on concrete and mineral-based surfaces. It is ideal for areas that require dust-preventing and long-lasting coating. It provides an aesthetic and hygienic environment by creating a semi-matte-matte surface.

Features

  • A+B component, solvent-based epoxy system
  • Strong adhesion to concrete surfaces
  • High abrasion and impact resistance
  • Resistant to chemicals and oils
  • Dust-free and easy-to-clean surface
  • Applicable with non-slip additive
  • Suitable for application with brush, roller and gun
  • Provides long-lasting performance on indoor floors

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surface to be applied must be dry, clean, solid and free of loose particles. If necessary, the surface must be prepared by shot blasting, sandpaper or scraper. The surface must be saturated with a suitable epoxy primer before application.

Mixing Ratio (A+B):

  • 4 parts Epoxy Paint (A)
  • 1 part Hardener (B)

Dilution:

  • 5 – 10% Epoxy Thinner (depending on the application method)

Application Conditions:

  • With roller, brush or airless gun
  • Wait between coats: min. 12 hours – max. 24 hours
  • Application temperature: +10°C to +30°C
  • Application should not be done in environments open to humidity

Area that can be covered:

Approximately 6 – 8 m² of surface can be covered with 1 liter of mixture (varies according to film thickness and surface absorbency)

Drying Time (23°C / 50% relative humidity):

  • Dust-proof: 1 – 2 hours
  • Touch dry: 6 – 8 hours
  • Between coats: min. 12 hours
  • Suitable for light pedestrian traffic: 24 hours
  • Full chemical and mechanical resistance: 7 days

Packaging

  • A Component (Paint): 16 L
  • B Component (Hardener): 4 L
  • Total: 20 L set

Storage

  • Storage should be stored in its original packaging, in a cool and dry environment between +5°C and +30°C
