Acrylic 3+1 Semi-Matte Paint is a two-component, acrylic resin-based, medium gloss level (satin / semi-matte) top coat paint system. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use with its high adhesion strength, chemical and atmospheric resistance. It offers an ideal coating especially for professionals looking for aesthetic surfaces that do not require reflection. A long-lasting film structure is obtained when used with a hardener.

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surface to be applied must be dry, clean, and completely free of residue such as dust, oil and rust. It is recommended to create a smooth surface with a suitable primer (e.g. Acrylic Primer or Epoxy Primer).

Mixing Ratio

  • 3 parts Semi-Matt Paint + 1 part Hardener
  • 10 – 20% Acrylic Thinner can be added if necessary

Application Instructions

  • Can be applied in 2 coats with a gun
  • Wait time between coats: 5 – 10 minutes
  • Gun pressure: 2 – 2.5 bar
  • Nozzle diameter: 1.3 – 1.5 mm
  • Application viscosity: ~20–25 sec / DIN Cup 4 (20°C)

Area Coverable

Approx. 8 – 10 m² surface can be covered (depending on 40 – 50 micron dry film thickness)

Drying Time (23°C / 50% RH)

  • Dust-proof: 10 – 15 minutes
  • Touch dry: 30 – 40 minutes
  • Full dry: 6 – 8 hours
  • Final strength and surface set: 24 hours

Packaging

  • 1 L – 3 L – 12 L sets (paint + hardener)

Storage

  • Storage should be kept in original packaging, between +5°C and +30°C
  • Storage should be kept away from direct sunlight and freezing conditions
  • Shelf life: 12 months (in unopened packaging)

Hazard Warnings

  • R10: Flammable
  • R20/21: Harmful by inhalation and in contact with skin
  • R36/38: May cause eye and skin irritation
  • R66/67: May cause skin dryness and dizziness may be
