STHANLEX 1K Epoxy Floor Paint is a modified epoxy resin based, single component, solvent based, semi-gloss and dust-proof floor coating paint that provides high adhesion to the surface. It stands out with its ease of application, especially developed for low-traffic interior spaces. Its chemical and mechanical resistance is at a medium level.

Application Instructions

  • Can be applied in 2 coats with brush, roller or gun
  • Waiting time between coats: 6 – 12 hours
  • Ambient temperature: +10°C to +30°C
  • Gun pressure: 2 – 2.5 bar
  • Application viscosity: 50–60 sec / DIN Cup 4 (20°C)

Surface Preparation and Application Method

The surface to be applied must be clean, dry, and completely free of oil, dirt and loose particles. Humidity should be maximum 5%.

Dilution Rate

  • Dilute with epoxy thinner at a rate of 5-10% depending on the application viscosity
  • (Slight thinning for brush/roller, more thinning for gun)

Area Covered

  • Approximately 7-9 m² of surface can be covered with 1 liter
  • (Depending on 40-50 micron dry film thickness)

Drying Time (23°C / 50% relative humidity)

  • Dust-proof: 1-2 hours
  • Touch dry: 3-5 hours
  • Suitable for light traffic: 24 hours
  • Full cure: 5 – 7 days

Hazard Warnings

  • R10: Flammable
  • R20: Harmful if inhaled
  • R36/38: May cause eye and skin irritation
  • R66/67: May cause dryness of skin and dizziness

Safety Advice

  • S2: Keep away from children
  • S16: Keep away from open fire, no smoking
  • S24/25: Avoid contact with eyes and skin
  • S36/37/39: Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eyewear
  • S51: Use in well-ventilated areas
  • S56: Dispose of waste in accordance with environmental legislation
